Here’s my story…

While I have provided my services for clients ranging from online training courses to establishing food forests, I am especially drawn to projects that promote sustainable and regenerative innovations.
This can range from building with green materials to sturdy shelters that can set up quickly in emergencies. Or how to clean waterways naturally with certain plants, to turning discarded clothing into new materials.
My favorite ways to assist these innovators who have come up with sustainable and regenerative solutions include:

- Copyediting that engage their readers and hold their attention
I will go into each of these below.
Video Script for Customer Testimonials
The first time I wrote a video script, I felt I’ve come home.
Listening to the heart-warming stories of my clients’ happy customers,
Weaving their stories into a script that moves the audience,
Suggesting music that enhances the message,
Suggesting camera shots and images that capture the soul of the story,
All of these… I find them very satisfying.
Come to think of it, I’ve been “writing” scripts all my adult life.
Whenever I find a product or service that benefit me, I can’t wait to share them with those who are looking for the same results.
It’s because I believe in those products and services.
That’s why when I write video scripts for a client, it NEEDS to be a service or product I personally believe in.
Analyzing Website Effectiveness (Site Audit)
I first became interested in site audits because I wanted my own language website to attract more of my ideal clients.
So, when I saw a certification program offered by American Writers & Artists Institute, I decided to learn how to do this for myself.
It wasn’t long before my website went to page 1 on Google, so I thought…” I can do this for others too. I can help those people whose missions I believe in.”
And that’s how I got started with analyzing websites to improve their effectiveness, so that more people will find me (and now my clients) on their Google search.
Copyediting
Long before I officially became a copywriter, I have been editing speeches for international clients who want to make sure they are communicating effectively to their American audience.
Much of the time, I edited their speeches to be more conversational, so they can keep their audience’s attention.
In some aspects, this is very similar to copyediting.
The goal is to speak to your audience in a way that keeps them interested, that addresses their needs, and inspires them to take action.
When my public speaking clients keep coming back because they are happy with their audience’s response, I realized that I can transfer that skill to writing. To help my clients.
Capture their audience’s interest.
Hold their attention.
Inspire them to take action.
And that’s how I got into copyediting.
My training
I want to make sure I have the proper training to provide my favorite copywriting services to clients. So, I invested the time to go through several certification programs offered by American Writers & Artists Institute, a well-respected training company for both aspiring and experienced copywriters.
I was impressed when I found out that businesses looking for professional copywriters often prefer to hire those trained by AWAI.
